"I pulled the TONE HAMMER out of the box, plugged it in and immediately started tracking in the studio. When I finished Steve Lillywhite and I looked at each other and said, 'That sounded amazing...Let's recut some songs with it.' I couldn't be happier. Thank you Aguilar!" - Matt Noveskey - Blue October

Vivi Rama

Vivi Rama is known for bringin' da funk to hit records from will.i.am and Macy Gray. Listen to her Tone Hammer groove that she recorded with her Musicman Stingray 4-string direct into her recording system.

Dan Lutz

Dan recorded these clips with his passive, Lakland Darryl Jones 5 string. The bass was strung with Elixir strings and was sent directly from the Tone Hammer’s output, straight into his Pro Tools recording rig. For each clip, Dan plays the first 30 seconds with the Tone Hammer bypassed. For the remainder of the clip, the Tone Hammer is engaged.

Steve Jenkins

Steve Jenkins recorded his two clips with his passive Fender Geddy Lee signature Jazz bass. The bass signal was sent directly from the Tone Hammer and into his computer. For his Zeta Reticuli clip, Steve took the original backing tracks of the song from his album Mad Science and re-recorded the bass using the Tone Hammer. Aguilar is happy to premier the Tone Hammer-fueled Zeta 2008 here!
