Dan recorded these clips with his passive, Lakland Darryl Jones 5 string. The bass was strung with Elixir strings and was sent directly from the Tone Hammer’s output, straight into his Pro Tools recording rig. For each clip, Dan plays the first 30 seconds with the Tone Hammer bypassed. For the remainder of the clip, the Tone Hammer is engaged. |

Steve Jenkins recorded his two clips with his passive Fender Geddy Lee signature Jazz bass. The bass signal was sent directly from the Tone Hammer and into his computer. For his Zeta Reticuli clip, Steve took the original backing tracks of the song from his album Mad Science and re-recorded the bass using the Tone Hammer. Aguilar is happy to premier the Tone Hammer-fueled Zeta 2008 here! |
